Spooky? (Or at least a pretty cool : )… A few days ago, Lisa from Lysaght Launceston called. She had seen my collection of corrugated iron stamps and was wondering if the Lysaght ‘Queenshead’ sample was for sale – she thought it might be nice framed hanging in the reception office. It wasn’t but I said I had a few sheets of ridge capping set aside for various projects and I’ll see what’s there. This is the cool bit… The second sheet I turned over had a lovely clear stamp on it but amazingly it had been manufactured on the 13th of October 1956 – exactly 60 years ago! (Note the date stamps on the pic). So I got to and framed it up and delivered it on Thursday (13th). Well done Lisa – How cool is that!
